Notification of Proposal/Event Status
Notification of proposal/event request status has been delayed. Notification will now go out by January 29, 2010.
Notification of proposal/event request status will be sent to the key contact first via email (allow email from the following address: aaccconvention@aacc.nche.edu). Notification will be sent regardless of whether or not the proposal/event request is accepted.
Hosting a Business Meeting/Social Event
If you are interested in hosting a business meeting or social event, please contact AACC at aaccconvention@aacc.nche.edu.
Cost
There is no charge for the meeting room. The organization hosting the event is responsible for paying for and making catering arrangements and audiovisual equipment rental. Catering arrangements will be made with the assigned venue. Menus will be made available in January 2010. Audiovisual equipment can be rented through the official 2010 convention A/V provider.
Scheduling
Business meeting and social events are scheduled on a first come, first served basis. Meetings and events will not be scheduled during AACC convention programming. AACC will make every effort to schedule the meeting or event at the requested date and time.
The following times are available to host a meeting or social event:
- Friday: All day
- Saturday: 7:00 am - 4:30 pm and 8:30 pm- 11:30 pm
- Sunday: 7:00 am - 8:30 am and 6:30 pm - 11:00 pm
- Monday: 7:00 am - 8:30 am
Submitting a Proposal for Future Conventions
The Call for Convention Events usually opens each year around the beginning of September and closes around mid October. Submission is made online through the AACC Web site.
