Featured AACC Programs

Image: Achieving the Dream logo Lumina Foundation for Education launched Achieving the Dream to address a national imperative: increasing success for the growing number of students for whom community colleges are the point of entry into higher education, particularly low-income students and students of color.

The AACC Plus 50 Initiative is a three and a half year effort to identify a pilot group of two-year institutions that will create or expand campus programs to engage the 50+ population in learning: training/re-training programs; and/or volunteer, civic, service activities.

Career Center

Are you an employer looking for that perfect person for the job? Take advantage of AACC's newly enhanced Career Center. Our job bank for prospective employees and employers alike, allows users to post resumes and job opportunities directly to our site, saving time and money. Colleges also have the option to customize ads with their logos. Listings are viewed by over 3,000 visitors daily.

Leadership Programs

AACC, with generous support from the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, has developed a Web site called Leading Forward that addresses leadership issues and programs at community colleges. The site provides resources including publications and research, career services and professional development help for those seeking to advance their careers at community colleges.
